Description
Hello,
We are looking for a third housemate. Our current housemate is aiming to leave 31st January, although we might be able to offer a bit of flexibility on the exact start date. We're ideally looking for a working professional, but will also consider students if you're willing to pay council tax. It is essential that you're happy living with a dog.
Bills (including WiFi, council tax and the alternative deposit scheme) total about £235/month currently, although we're hoping to decrease that once we get a better idea of our actual energy/water usage. Our contract ends in August, although depending on what the landlord says I'm hoping to extend it.
About the house:
The house has one bathroom downstairs, and a good sized living room connected to the kitchen. There is a single bedroom upstairs available which also comes with additional storage space/built in wardrobe just outside the room. The house comes with a lovely big garden (with resident hedgehogs!) and a shed which bikes can be stored in.
There is a big park nearby, a co-op and a pharmacy all within a couple minutes walk. The city centre is also within bike/walk distance.
About us:
I (Nicola) work as an animal technician in the city centre. My interests include animals, nature , psychology, and the occasional crafty activity.
I have a well behaved (and adorable) saluki dog called Noodle, so it is essential that you like dogs. Noodle's one bad habit is that he does howl briefly when I leave the house at 7am, so this room may not be appropriate for night workers.
I (Pia) work as a Teaching Assistant at a school just north of Oxford. I am from Germany and have been living in the UK for almost a year now.
In my free time I love doing anything creative: Crochet, painting, lino printing and writing poetry.
If you are interested please send us a message. We're happy to answer any questions and arrange viewings
