The flat is part of a block of flats next to Grandpont nature reserve and a short walk from Hinksey lake (great in the summer for swimming). It takes around 20 minutes to walk to Carfax tower (centre of town) and about 6 minutes to cycle. The area and neighbours are quiet and it is a family area.

Current housemate:
I am a female post-doctoral researcher at the University. I’m 27, friendly, I love nature, crafts, reading and baking. The room is available from 9th January or a bit after that until 22nd June, with the possibility of extending for another year. This is not a sublet, but an official transfer of tenancy and the letting agent will carry out financial checks.
You:
I am looking for a clean and tidy flatmate who enjoys sometimes hanging out and shares my appreciation for filling a flat with plants. Sorry but no pets, smokers, couples or children. Unfortunately, can’t have a student unless you are willing to pay half of the council tax.
