The flat is part of a block of flats next to Grandpont nature reserve and a short walk from Hinksey lake (great in the summer for swimming). It takes around 20 minutes to walk to Carfax tower (centre of town) and about 6 minutes to cycle. The area and neighbours are quiet and it is a family area.

Current housemate:
I am a female post-doctoral researcher at the University. I’m 27, friendly, I love nature, crafts, reading and baking. The room is available from late December or early January (flexible) until 22nd June, with the possibility of extending for another year. This is not a sublet, but an official transfer of tenancy and the letting agent will carry out financial checks.
You:
I am looking for a clean and tidy flatmate who enjoys sometimes hanging out and shares my appreciation for filling a flat with plants. Sorry but no pets, smokers, couples or children. Unfortunately, can’t have a student unless you are willing to pay half of the council tax.
