Sunny Double Room by the River - Newly Refurbished

A river-view, double room in a 2-bedroom shared house, very close to the train station, supermarkets, and port meadow. Friendly and quiet neighborhood. Especially during the pandemic, many neighbors reach out and help each other.

The house has been refurbished in 2019 and well furnished, including a well-equipped kitchen, a living room, and a backyard open to the river. There are two bedrooms and a bathroom with a shower over a bathtub on the first floor. The furniture in the rented room is in very good condition and can be acquired as per preferences. Two curious cats from the neighbors are visiting regularly.

I have been working at the university as a postdoc since early 2019. Having been working from home during the lockdown makes me realize keeping the house clean and cozy is quite important for me. I consider myself tidy but easy-going, sociable but respectful of one's own space. My hobbies include cinema/theater and board games. I also enjoy making Asian cuisine while not being lazy.

The rent is £650 without bills. The bills will be evenly split (council tax + utility bills + board band ~ £130-150/person). Feel free to drop me a message if you think this might be a good fit!
