This is a lovely light-filled Victorian cottage in the canal-side area of New Osney - this is identical to the Jericho area - in the city centre, just 5 minutes from Carfax, train & bus station, so close to University departments & libraries. Close to canal and countryside of Port Meadow & Hinskey for country walks, traditional English pubs, exercise/jogging.

The house has a suntrap garden, lots of seating and secure bike locking via a rear garden gate. Fully furnished with Ikea furniture, wooden floors, carpets. There are three double bedrooms with windows letting in natural sunlight. The beds are double 'firm' Ikea mattresses. Each bedroom has a study-table, chair, wardrobe, bedside table, bookshelves (all Ikea). The kitchen has a large sunlit window overlooking the garden with fridge-freezer, electric oven & ceramic hob, washing machine. The open-plan lounge-diner opens onto the garden with patio doors. The house is always freshly painted and immaculately cleaned for new tenants. The mattresses are super-clean with dry-cleaned protectors.

There is on-street parking if you purchase a Residents Parking Permit from the Council (maximum 2 cars per household).

The total monthly rent is £2400 per month (£800 per tenant). Plus utility bills which estimate around £80-100 per person (gas, electric, water, wifi). The total deposit is £2769.23 (923.08 per tenant). The deposit is safely held in the UK government scheme called DPS which is free (no fees). Full-time enrolled students are exempt from Council Tax.

The landlady is ideally looking for 3 friends who already know each other who are houseproud and will keep to a weekly housekeeping duties to keep the house clean and tidy (tenant responsibilities to maintain the property to a high standard). Property inspections are conducted every three months for the deposit & inventory reporting. The house is strictly rented as a 'home' - not as short-let.
