Single room in friendly shared house

Single room available from 1st November, in 6 bedroom Headington house, with two communal bathrooms. The room is upstairs and shares its bathroom with two others.

Location:
10 min walk to Headington shops, good access to ring road for commuting and bus routes. 20 mins to centre by bike. Close proximity to JR and Churchill hospitals. This whole area is residential and really nice, quiet at nights and mostly families on our street.

Parking:
We have a driveway which is already full but the car users in the house would split the cost of a permit if you have a car, which isn’t too expensive. Weekends and evenings are free on our street, so if you work mon-fri 9-5, no permit needed.

Communal areas:
The house has a really spacious kitchen/living room area and a garden. Despite this being a 6 person house, it never feels too crowded, especially on weekends when the house is usually only half full. Our cleanliness/tidiness standards are moderate. The house is fairly hygienic but not always perfectly tidy. We have a shed which can store bikes.

We are a sociable house – there is always at least a couple of people in the kitchen/living room on an evening and we all really like each other and get along. We have two rooms available as a previous couple living here are emigrating. We are looking for people who want to feel part of the house. This is not a high turnover house. We don’t just want to “fill a room” and not get to know you. If this isn’t your vibe, please don’t apply. Among the current housemates we have an IT analyst, one working in publishing, and two doing PhDs in biomedical research.
