The room is very nice and comfortable. It has storage - looking at the photo taken from the door, the entire right hand wall is built in storage. It is rare to get such a fantastic view overlooking garden and fields yet be so close to Oxford centre.

The house is in an ideal location, with the best of both worlds. Easy access to Oxford Centre, yet with beautiful country walks! Walking in the countryside is so enjoyable and relaxing. You also have the option to walk to the reservoir or to the Thames. Ideal for people who like running. The village has two traditional country pubs, a butcher, newsagent, post office and grocer. It is a safe, secure, peaceful, upmarket area.

Furniture is negotiable. Currently there is an attractive wooden bed, bedside table, desk, and built in wardrobe storage all along one wall which means the the room can easily be kept tidy. The room has an attractive thick oak fire-door. Things can be stored in the loft if required, which helps keep your room uncluttered. And there is a garage where bikes etc can be stored.

There is also a beautiful spacious newish fully equipped kitchen-diner, with real granite work surfaces and real maple kitchen units and dining table. There is a large fridge-freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer, gas cooker, microwave, dishwasher and plenty of storage for pans, crockery, food etc.. Pans, crockery, cutlery etc supplied.

There is also a lovely garden with a table on the patio so you can sit and eat and relax outside.
It is a real white marble table and metal chairs, and there is a small barbecue and a fire pit available for tenants use...

There is a separate large comfortable attractive lounge with new internet connected 'smart' 4k Samsung TV with TalkTalk TV-Box and package.

The bathroom and separate WC you share with only two others. They are flexible about showering time, so if you have a time you need to be in the shower in the morning then that will be fine.

Cycling from the house into town averages 15 minutes if you are reasonably fit and have a decent bike. On the way home it is 20 minutes, due to the hill. This is the best way round as it means you can quickly get into work in the morning, and then get some exercise coming up the hill on the way home! :) Coming from the house the roads are initially wide and relatively quiet, and then once there is more traffic there is a cycle lane. So it is much quicker, safer and more enjoyable than cycling up the clogged and narrow Cowley Road.

The bus-stop is only a couple of minutes away from the house. Coming from the house the roads are relatively quiet and then there is a bus lane so it can be quicker to get into the centre by bus than travelling down the clogged Cowley Road and from many other parts of south and east Oxford. Yet you also get the benefit of lovely countryside and a pretty village on your doorstep.

The house has driveway car parking available for tenants. Easy access to ring road and thence to Oxford, Culham, Milton, Abingdon, Didcot, Witney etc.

There is a friendly, sociable, positive, respectful atmosphere in the house so we would like that to continue. You will be sharing with one couple and two single males who are all really nice, friendly, interesting, considerate, tidy, honest, respectful and good company. They also keep the house clean and tidy. We seek someone similar. Both male and female welcome.

As well as viewing the room you will meet the current tenants so you can all see whether you would like to live together. Current tenants have a large say in who the next tenant is, and each has a veto, and the landlord is very choosy. This means that once you move in you can be confident that if someone moves out then you will be happy with the replacement tenant.

No smoking. No couples. No pets (other than pets which can be kept in the garden - eg I once had a prospect tenant who wanted to keep a rabbit in a hutch, which would be ok).
