Double room in centre of East Oxford

Hello,

I am Pinelopi a friendly librarian and I work at the University of Oxford. I am also a language teacher and work at a community school on weekends. My housemate of 5 years is relocating to Scotland and I am searching for a new housemate. I own 2 cats, Cheeky and Surume, who are very friendly and nosy and have been living in this house with me for 5 years now, almost all of their lives.

The room is available from July onwards. It is on a central part of Oxford just five minutes away from Tesco and Sainsburys on Cowley Road and between stops of Iffley Road and Cowley road. The bills come to the price of an extra £210 per month. It comes furnished with double bed, drawer chest wardrobe, plus additional space upstairs and basement. There's also a spare room upstairs ideal to host friends and family, which I also use to work from home and as a study. Kitchen area includes a dryer, dishwasher, cooker, washing machine, fridge and other appliances. It also comes with a large back garden. Bathroom is large and it has a bathtub. If you love sports, the house is on an ideal location, since the Sports Centre is also five minutes away as well as the beautiful nature reserve of Aston Eyott.

I am a friendly and considerate housemate. I like feeling the house a home to be living in. I have a reasonable schedule of tidying and cleaning and can do attitude when the others feel swamped, and I expect that from others too. I like watching theatre and movies, gardening in the large garden we've got, going out to concerts and events, and making some efforts to start up sports. I love hikes and the more doing that the better, so if you do like them, that's an added bonus. I also like going to museums. I play boardgames here and there and I have a small collection of them . Finally I enjoy spending time home, socialising and cooking, while being respectful of personal space. I am looking for a tidy and clean housemate who cleans after themselves and can participate in the house cleaning at least twice per month. Having experience and understanding what living with pets entails is also a must, as the cats roam around the house and are not restricted in communal areas and feeling comfortable with having guests here and there and well having a chat and spend some quality time as housemates.
