Double room available in Jericho OX1

We have one double room available in a 6 person house (currently 2 boys and 3 girls).

The house is located in Jericho and is a 5 minute walk to the city centre and a 10 minute walk to Oxford train station. We are next to Walton Street and Little Clarendon Street in a quiet and well kept area.

We have a Coop about 1 minute walk away, and a Tesco and Sainsburys about 5-10 walk away too.

The house and rooms are well furnished and there is a large open plan kitchen and living room with a television. The kitchen has a dishwasher, fridge, and freezer, and we have a washer and tumble dryer too. There is a reasonably sized garden and there is an area at the front of the house where bikes may be kept.

We are all young professionals and are a quiet house but enjoy chilling out in the evening, and the occasional pub trip or quiz. We are looking for a sociable, friendly flatmate, and the previous housemate has already moved out so the move in date is negotiable, but ideally looking to have someone move in ASAP.

*We have recently had flooding in the house, which has been a one-off event due to a broken pipe rather than a regular occurrence. This has affected the utility room and living area, but the landlord is getting this sorted, and there is a 25% rent reduction until this is resolved*

We deal with the landlord directly who is really lovely and super helpful.

The rent is £800 per calendar month, and with bills is usually £925. Professionals are preferred, but we would consider students who are happy to share the council tax (included in the £925).
