Available for rent from 1st March is a large double room in the centre of Oxford backing onto the river and a 3 min walk to the station. Already here are 4 housemates: 3 professionals and 1 student. We all keep odd hours and regularly have people in and out so would fit someone who doesn't mind a fair bit of activity.

House is spread over three floors, with a large living room, kitchen with fridge freezer and dishwasher and four bedrooms, two en suites. Available room is on the second floor and shares the bathroom with bath/shower with one other room.

On top of the rent are utility bills coming in at ~£60pcm, council tax ~£80. Please note that students will also be required to contribute to council tax payments.

3min walk to the train station - perfect for the occasional commute (~55mins into Paddington)

4min walk to Sainsburys

10min walk into Jericho along the canal for all the trendy pubs and bars

11min walk to Broad Street/central Oxford

11min walk to Westgate Shopping Centre

Out back is a terrace that backs onto the river and I have a little boat anyone's welcome to borrow to row up to the pub.

Existing roommates are myself and my wife, both teachers; a marketing professional and DJ, and a law student. Entering housemates will be expected to slot into our cleaning rota and be flexible and proactive with regards to communal living. Very relaxed bunch, happy to do eg. communal meals but also respectful of everyone's privacy. Guests/parties welcome, I want to stress without sounding cliché that I'm basically a housemate that you can force to fix things.
