Hi there!

I moved into this house without knowing Oxford well and it is not a feasible place for me to commute from. It is a shame as this is a great house which was only refurbished 2 years ago and it is located just off the desirable Cowley Road. . It is council tax band C.

There is a modern, shared kitchen and living room as well as a utility room and 2 bathrooms (one with a W. C. and the other with a W. C. and a shower). The bedroom has a double bed, under-bed storage, a desk and chair, a wardrobe with storage both above and below it, and a lock (with a key) for the bedroom door. The locks on the bedroom doors are a great touch so you feel extra safe leaving your stuff for long periods of time but we often keep our doors open. There is a turnover of tenants at the moment so there are another 2 rooms which still need to be occupied so this is a potential option for a group of 2/3 that are looking for somewhere to live together. However, I am only advertising one room and therefore for one tenant.

This house is less than 2 minutes from the closest bus stop which can take you all around Oxford and it is a 10/15 minute walk to a London tube stop so you can easily get into London in under 2 hours. The house itself is tucked away behind a hedgerow and not on the main Cowley road or so it feels very safe. This house is also within walking and cycling distance of multiple Oxford colleges. There is Oxford Brookes associated accommodation on the road opposite us so there are plenty of buses leading to the University and the Hospital as well. The University is well within walking distance or cycling distance for speed so it would be great for someone working at the university. Students are welcome to view the property but they will be expected to pay council tax as everyone else in the house does (the council tax is included in the monthly rent).

I begin my job mid-September so this room is available immediately and it would be ideal if you could move in before or around this time (although I am flexible). I will be conducting viewings on weekdays and weekends so if you have any questions about the property or booking a viewing please give me a message! Once a viewing has been conducted (and you want to take the room before someone else snatches it!) I will give your contact details to the landlord and the letting agents so you can proceed from there.
