A bedroom is opening up in our friendly house share near central Oxford. Available on 23rd September 2024.

The house:
The 5 bedroom house is spread over 4 floors with a large communal kitchen, living and dining area. There are 2 bathrooms (one with a shower, one with a shower and bath), laundry facilities and a large back garden that gets lots of sun during the day.
A parking permit is available if required.

The house is very well located at the city end of the Cowley Rd, within a few minutes’ walk from the Plain roundabout and St Clements. We’re about 15-20 minutes walk from the city centre, and the bus stops to go to the train station, London and the main airports are 3-4 minutes away.

The room & rent:
The large double bedroom on the first floor of our house will be available on 23rd September 2024. It has a double bed, dresser, desk, chair, and bookshelf as well as a built-in wardrobe and a sink with lighted mirror. There is a large window overlooking the garden. The rent is £885pcm and includes all utility bills: council tax (Band E), TV licence, water, electricity, gas, broadband, gardener and a weekly clean of the communal areas. The house is owned by a private landlord.

As the minimum tenancy is 6 months, you will need to sign a 6 month contract. After this, your contract becomes a monthly rolling contract. The notice period for terminating your tenancy is 1 month.

The housemates:
The current housemates are 2 females and 2 males, a mix of professionals and 1 postgrad student who get along well. An ideal housemate is outgoing and friendly, as well as tidy and considerate of shared spaces. Professionals and postgrads are preferred as everyone in the house works full-time.
