The house is refurbished, comfortable and well-equipped. We have most mod cons including a good wireless broadband connection, washing machine, dryer, gas cooking, gas central heating and shower-room with good shower. The room available is very large and light (c. 12'x20'). It's a new loft conversion, newly decorated with a great deal of peace and privacy, at the top of the house. It has large french windows overlooking the garden, a good quality bed and mattress, chest of drawers, desk, table, etc. The ensuite bathroom has a toilet, large washbasin and excellent walk-in shower. Lockable space to park bikes in front garden and on-street parking available. Non-smoker only please.
We're looking for a professional/ postgraduate to share the house, who'd like to live somewhere clean, civilised and companionable.
The monthly rental is £850 (which includes council tax, broadband and water) plus fuel (gas & electricity) which customarily works out c.£50 per person per month. (NB: The share of the fuel cost is the only extra payment; all other bills are included. Fuel costs have been shared for several years and we have accurate idea of annual cost.) The room's available from the end of January, 2025.
