Lovely central double room

We have one double room to let in a 4-bedroom Victorian townhouse on the Iffley Road and only a 15 minute walk into Oxford city centre. The room is available from the 2nd January 2026, for 6 months, for one person.

The double room is big and on the top floor. It has a double bed, chest of drawers, desk, wardrobe, chest and two armchairs. It is quiet, light and airy. Please note that this room is for one person only.

We have a friendly dog called Wooster.

There is very good fast wireless internet broadband in the room and around the house. Please note there is no telephone landline and the garden is under renovation. There is a washing machine, tumble dryer and fully fitted kitchen with dishwasher.

The house is a terraced Victorian townhouse recently renovated . It has two lovely bathrooms, a modern kitchen, a large dining room and utility room. There is a beautiful park and the Kidneys Nature Reserve nearby.

The house has a bus stop outside. Alternatively it is a 15 minute walk to the town centre and a 25 minute walk to the train station.

The rent is £1,065 per month for the room, including bills. The refundable deposit is £500. The contract is for 6 months only, from early January 2026 until early June 2026.

There is no car parking available. There is a bike base opposite the house by the bus stop.

Your housemates would be Alexandra, Ben and their daughter, Aurora. Alex is a modern languages teacher who loves family time and a good cup of coffee. Ben is a history teacher and loves rugby, cooking and good books. We are a friendly young professional family and look forward to meeting you.
