I’m offering a spacious, bright room in my quiet Victorian home in Park Town, near the University Parks. The room has its own basin and shares a bathroom. A small fridge and kettle can be provided, though there’s no kitchen access.

The rent includes all bills, wifi and council tax. It’s for one person only, in a non-smoking household with two calm senior cats — so you’ll need to be comfortable around cats.

The home is clean, shoe-free and generally very quiet, while the room itself is large, clean and well lit — making it an ideal base in Oxford. This arrangement would best suit a professional or visiting academic with a main home elsewhere, but a quiet student who prefers a calm environment could also be a good fit.
