Housemate: You’ll live with a clean, friendly DPhil student. They rarely cook—so you’ll have the kitchen mostly to yourself.
Parking: No private parking. Residents’ permits, on-street options, and free visitor permits available.
Rent & bills: Total rent £1,850 pcm; your share £925. Utilities typically £70–£100 pp depending on usage. Council Tax Band C (exempt if you’re a full-time student).
Dates & contract: Ideal move-in late December (slightly earlier or later may work). One current occupant is leaving after finishing studies (who you will replace); the other will continue the tenancy with you. You’ll replace the person leaving in the current tenancy until 27-June-2026, with the possibility to renew (which is a great plus given the low supply and high demand of good 2-bedroom flats/houses in Oxford).
