Large double room in bright and spacious house

We are looking for a kind, relaxed, respectful housemate to sublet this double room, in a bright and spacious house in Oxford. We are researchers and professionals working at the intersection of geography, ecology, mathematics, creative writing, anthropology, and Buddhist philosophy; we love yoga, meditation, and wild swimming in Port Meadow and Hinksey Lake. We enjoy meeting people from all backgrounds and are open to living with both students and professionals.

The house is fully furnished, with the bedroom advertised having a double bed, desk and chair, lounge chair, and storage space. There is a cosy living room and a large kitchen, which backs onto a patio and garden. (The photographs uploaded here are from when we moved in - the house is more colourful and decorated now.)

The room is available for 8 weeks, from 20th August (give or take a few days) until 16th October, and would ideally be occupied for most or all of this 8 week period. The rent for this double room is £630/month. Bills and council tax together come to £130/month (the house is Band D for council tax). So, the total amount for rent, bills, and council tax, is £760/month.

We live in a convenient and central location, and also right by several peaceful waterways and footpaths: we're just a five minute cycle to Port Meadow and an eight minute cycle to Wytham Woods, and close to Hinksey Lake too. Our house is next to a Waitrose and Nisa Local, and just down the road from an Aldi. The train station is ten minutes’ walk away, and the city centre is another five minutes' walk beyond the train station.
