Looking for 5th person to apply for 5-bed

Hey all!

So far we are a group of 4 guys, aged between 22-27, and are going to view a really nice, large 5-bed on Tuesday morning (the 23rd of June). Therefore, we are looking for a 5th who is interested in taking the best room in the house, so that we can apply as a full group of 5. We intend to apply straight after the viewing on Tuesday the 23rd (assuming all is good with the house when we look around), so we need to have a 5th in place by then.

About the room:
It is a monster! The property is 4-storeys, and it takes up the entire top floor! It has its own, full en-suite too, so it is basically a private penthouse suite taking the entire top floor for yourself haha. It is also nearly double the size of the rest of the bedrooms (which are all great sized doubles in their own right).

The property has a huge kitchen with 2 stove tops, 2 ovens etc. and another 2 shared bathrooms, so it is very generous for a group of 5. It also has a living room and a garden.

We are 1 DPhil student, 1 part-time Oxford MSc student, and 2 young professionals. We are all into outdoorsy things, such as hiking, surfing, bouldering etc. and are all sociable and keen to be friends rather than just simply sharing a space. It would be great to find someone likeminded who would also like to do things with the rest of the house :). We have no preference on gender!

We also have no preference on having another student or a young professional join us, but we are all intending to split council tax (band D) so you would need to be happy with that.

Since the room is definitely couple-sized, we are more than happy to have a couple join us for a little bit more in rent.

Obviously, since we are yet to apply, it is not guaranteed that we would get the house as the landlord may favour another group. The purpose of this post is to find someone who would be interested in having this room to apply with as a group of 5 on Tuesday the 23rd - after the viewing (assuming we don’t find anything majorly wrong at the viewing!).

Also, two of the existing guys will be bringing their cars, therefore we have already used up the household permit allowance. So you will need to either not be bringing a car, or be happy to make private parking arrangements.
