Victorian Terrace house with easy access to Oxford

A Victorian terraced property, ideally situated for Oxford city centre, Oxford University, Brookes University and the John Radcliffe Hospital.

The property is located on a quiet side road, tucked in behind Oxford's University Park, near the confluence of Oxford's many cycle tracks. Well located for the university, the hospital and town. Though only a short distance from Oxford's city centre, the property benefits from a rural feel as it backs onto Trinity College meadows - teaming with wildlife such as deer, foxes and pheasants - and is surrounded by parkland.

We are a young family (kids aged 2 & 7), very friendly, and are looking for someone who is fairly self-contained, and likes kids to rent our spare room.

Rent is for use of room, Monday to Friday (the occasional weekend can be arranged at extra cost), and communal use of the kitchen, living room, bathroom and garden. Bills and broadband included. The room is recently repainted and is light and spacious. It is set up as a single, with desk, chest of drawers, hanging rail and tv, but can be made into a double room instead if preferred.

Oxford city centre is a short 15 minute walk from the house (5 mins by bicycle). Nearby University Parks offers a wonderful place for picnics and sport, and East Oxford, with its wide variety of shops, restaurants and markets is a 20 mins walk. If you don't want to venture so far, the corner shop at the end of the road sells most staples. Local bus service stops at the top of the road and will take you into town, to the rail station, the hospital or into Headington, and the buses to/ from London, Heathrow and Gatwick stop just around the corner on St. Clements.
