Lovely furnished, quiet double room in Jericho

We have a furnished double room available on the 1st floor of a spacious Victorian house (2 bathrooms) in Jericho/Walton Manor from 1 August, preferably for a female professional. Lovely views over gardens/trees to the canal at the back of the house. All rooms are centrally heated and we have broadband installed. Please note bills (council tax, gas, electricity, water, broadband) are not included in the rent and sum up to about £100 per month and person.

The house has a high-quality appearance having been completely refurbished recently, including a brand new kitchen and appliances plus two shower rooms. The house is managed by Lucy Properties (no agency fees).

The street the house is on leads immediately down to Port Meadow and the Thames river, perfect for walks and jogging. A ten minute walk down the canal also leads you to the train station, giving you easy access to the London trains; the frequent Oxford to London bus service is also only a 15 minute walk away. Also only two minutes’ walk to Jericho/Walton Street with its range of great pubs, restaurants, cocktail bars, grocery stores, doctors’ surgery, and even an independent cinema.

You would be sharing with one female and two male professionals. We’re looking for people that are very considerate, tidy, and easy-going. We’re all fairly busy with work with some of us working longer hours, so we like to keep the house as a nice calm place to relax in the evenings. The house has been recently renovated and we like to keep it in good condition and all contribute to keeping communal areas clean and tidy; we also all pay all monthly amounts to a central house account to cover bills.
