We have a SINGLE furnished room available in a large FAMILY home in Sandford on Thames.

We have four children, two older children who no longer live with us but they do visit from time to time and two sons both in secondary school. We also have two existing lodgers.
In addition to the humans, we have two small dogs, a bashful and sweet lemon beagle and an excitable and affectionate Cavalier King Charles Spaniel.

The house has recently been extended and refurbished providing a large kitchen/diner with rear lounge opening out to the garden.

There is a bathroom with bath and separate shower cubicle which is generally shared with two other housemates.

The front of the property has a large drive offering one parking space.

There is also a lovely patio area which is a sun trap from late afternoon.
The property is within walking distance of the Oxford Science Park as well as the Voco hotel. The river is a short walk through the village with access to fields which are great for walks.
The bus service is much improved with regular buses to Oxford City, Cowley, Littlemore, Greater Leys and the surrounding areas.
Sandford on Thames has a great community spirit with a community shop and cafe as well as a village hall with various weekly activities taking place. The village has an annual summer festival which has grown over the years.

As a family we like TV, film, music, socialising and enjoying the garden during the summer months. We’re lively and fun and like to entertain occasionally.

We’d like to share our home with someone who likes their own space but also enjoys a chat in the evenings. Is at work/Uni during the day so NO home working.
No overnight visitors unless agreed with us in advance.

Flexibility on start dates, short term let’s and Mon to Fri lets considered.
