Large double room available for a single occupant at the beginning of May. Sharing with friendly, active retired couple + 1 very friendly well trained cockapoo.
This is a downstairs room in a large detached house in Sandford on Thames. There is a fully equipped kitchen available with a washing machine. Also downstairs there is a shower, toilet and handbasin very close to the room being Let . There is an enclosed south west garden . This is a quiet area with a nature reserve within walking distance and the River Thames. The village has many amenities such as a hotel with gym membership available. Two pubs both serving food one is by Sandford lock on the Thames(the River Thames footpath is where you can walk into Oxford from there). We are within walking distance of the science Park and a Mental Health Facility. The 3a buses are frequent going towards the Science Park, or further to the Vue cinema or Hollywood bowl, other amenities in the area include the football ground, home to Oxford United, then on to Templar Square and the Cowley Road. The 3a bus also goes to Oxford City and the train station which is about 3 1/2 miles away, alternatively biking to and from places is encouraged in this area and we have a garage where you can store your bike safely.
