Spacious room in Summertown, OXFORD, OX2 

We are looking for a medium or long-term English-speaking lodger (doesn’t have to be their first language),
mature student or a young professional, age 20+.

Must have positive attitude to life, be reasonably tidy and reliable.

We offer a comfortable, light, and spacious ground floor single furnished room in our non-smoking 3-bedroom family house with a large garden and all modern amenities.

The room for rent is currently furnished with a single bed, 2-seater sofa, desk, bookshelves, wardrobe, chest of drawers i. e. there is everything that is required for comfortable living and studying.

The lodger’s shower room/ WC is mainly for private use, with occasional sharing with family guests.

The spacious kitchen/ dining room with access to the garden is shared with landlord.

The live-in landlord’s family is a small, friendly household consisting of a mature professional woman working in law and her 22-year-old son, who has recently graduated and is currently taking a gap year.

We have excellent feedback from previous lodgers and are very familiar with sharing communal spaces in the house.

Our family house is in a quiet residential street of Summertown (Oxford OX2 7SE) and benefits from easy access to many colleges and research facilities of the University of Oxford, by bus, on foot or by bicycle. It is also close to the local parks, within a short distance to local shops, gyms, cafes, restaurants and pubs; just a couple of minutes’ walk to bus stops with routes towards the centre of Oxford and out of Oxford towards London and several airports; not far from the Oxford Parkway Train Station.

The rent is £850 and will include all reasonable house bills. Off street parking for one car is negotiable for an additional charge.
