Small double North Oxford 2/7/26. PENDING.

Our lovely housemate is moving on to due to new work so we have a compact, light, fully furnished double room for single occupancy, with Wi-Fi, in shared house in a quiet, friendly North Oxford close off a main road.. The room is on the first floor and has views over the front garden and an island of trees in front of the close. It is furnished with a double bed, bedside table with lamp, wardrobe chest of drawers, bookshelves, folding desk and office chair, large mirror, and waste paper basket.
There are three existing housemates' rooms on this floor plus a shared bathroom with power shower and bath, plus a separate toilet.
Downstairs there is a fully equipped kitchen, a living/ dining/ tv room which leads to back patios with a table and chairs, to other seating areas with a rocking bench and a three seater swing, and vegetarian and non vegi' bbqs in the garden laid to lawn with flower beds, plus fruit and herbs for everyone's consumption. There is a further living/ music/ tv room, and, as it is our home, my 21 year old son's and my rooms plus our bathroom. At the front entrance there is a porch for deliveries, a drive long enough for three small hatchbacks or two estate cars, plus secure locks in the front garden for bicycles obscured from public view
Our home is conveniently located round the corner from bus stops on the Banbury Road with buses to the city centre, hospitals, Parkway train station, and the ring road, plus cycle routes to all locations. It is a short walk from Summertown shops, Wolvercote pubs, Port Meadow, and Cutteslowe Park, shops, cafes, restaurants, pubs, and bars.
We usually eat separately due to different schedules but sometimes get together, some or all of us, for no obligation meals, or drinks and nibbles for occasional film nights. Some of us also bake for general consumption. We have two Bengal cats as the breed is considered to be hypoallergenic, and they are gentle and affectionate.
