One bed flat in beautiful Sutton Courtenay

This is a self contained area of the house which has a large living room with a kitchen area at one end and a large double bedroom, and a bathroom with shower over the bath.

There is a shared washing machine in a separate room on the ground floor.

It is not strictly speaking a flat because there is no washing up sink, washing up has to take place in the bathroom in a washing up bowl. But in all other respects it is a flat. It has large windows looking over the large garden.

It is in a quiet lane and there is a stream and fields down the lane.

George Orwell is buried in the churchyard (Eric Blair was his real name), and there is a beautiful 13th century Abbey where they have a cafe on Saturday mornings and other events.
There are three pubs, the Fish, The George and The Swan. And a green grocer and two grocery shops. The nearest one is a couple of hundred yards up the road.

There is a bus stop just a minute's walk away, (the stop is called The Plough, but it is quite near The Triangle, if you want to look at bus routes to Didcot, Abingdon, Oxford etc.)

It is 20 minutes on the bus to Didcot I think. There are also buses to Harwell etc and it is very near to Milton Park.

No smoking inside the building.. There are others in the building but the area is self contained and reached by a communal stairway.

The bills are included, with careful use. There is no central heating but there is a gas fire in the living room and a gas fire in the bedroom. Water for the bath is heated up in a large hot water tank, or kettle. There is an electric shower which has constant hot water. This doesn't include having the gas fires on during daytime weekday hours or at night. It does not include electric heating as this is very expensive. It includes water rates and council tax.
