Double room with ensuite in Witney

I rent two rooms in my home in Witney, a double room and a double room with ensuite. Currently the double room with en-suite is available to rent. There is a 23 year female renting the other room. I don’t live in the house, so there will be a maximum of two people overall.

The double room ensuite includes a double bed, double wardrobe, bedside drawers, bookshelf, TV with Netflix and full length mirror. The ensuite has a shower, toilet, sink and additional storage.
There is also a main bathroom. There is a bath, sink, toilet and plenty of storage in the bathroom.

Communal areas include kitchen/dinner, lounge, guest single bedroom and small garden. The kitchen has a gas oven, gas hob, fridge, freezer, microwave, washer-dryer machine and dish washer. The lounge includes; TV and sofas. The garden has a patio with a BBQ, garden table and chairs.

There is off road parking but sometimes you have to park on the road during busy times.

The rent includes bills. The house has central heating and hot water. The internet provider is fast.

The current lodger is a young and friendly professional. She is clean person so would like to share the house with someone who respects this.


The house is in a quiet neighbourhood. The house is close to many amenities, less than a 5 minute walk; fish and chip shop, corner shop and hairdresser. It is also only a 15 minute walk into Witney town where there is an odeon, banks, doctors, dentists, many shops, lots of cafe and plenty of restaurants. There is also a gym with swimming pool about 20 minute walk away. Witney has a farmers market every Saturday morning. There is a bus stop close by which has a regular bus service to Oxford. There are some walking routes and bike routes locally too, if you enjoy that.

There is a minimum of 3 months contract. The deposit is one months rent.
