I am looking to sublet my flat in Wolvercote, Oxford, for the Christmas period. It's very recently been redecorated (including new flooring) and is comfortably fully furnished. All bills will be included (electricity, gas, water, council tax, broadband). It has a spacious lounge that gets lots of light, a double bedroom, fully equipped kitchen and bathroom. It's situated in a lovely close next to Goose Green conservation area and is within a small block of four flats (it's on the first floor). My neighbours are quiet and considerate.
It can be available from the 22nd December for 1 - 3 weeks and there is flexibility on the start and end date. I am a teacher and am away for the Christmas holidays, which is why I'm renting it out.
The property is very well situated in upper Wolvercote. Port Meadow is a 3 minute walk away and the transport links are excellent. The bus stop is 1 minute away: the number 6 bus goes into the city centre every 15 minutes and the ST2 goes to the Oxford hospitals. It's in easy cycling distance of the city centre (either via the Woodstock Road or along the canal) and other parts of Oxford. Wolvercote has good pubs, a farmer's market every Sunday and a local convenience store. Summertown, with its shops, cafes and restaurants, is also close by.
Parking is available. A permit will need to be purchased if your car will be there full time (which I can help with). You will only need to pay for the short period that you will use it.
The flat is perfect for a single professional or couple.
