Description
Walkerburn is situated between Peebles and Galashiels, some 30 miles south of Edinburgh. It's on the X62 bus route. Travel time to Edinburgh: 45 mins by car and about 1:30 mins on the X62. (You can download the Borders Buses app).
The double room (room 1) is upstairs, in a fairly independent part of the house. The kitchen (shared with me) though smallish is fully equipped. I'm quiet and discreet. When I am in I spend most of my time in the library.
The flat (room 2) and the studio (room 3) are in the same house. I used to run them as Airbnbs details of which are still online. They are self-contained.
I put an initial maximum 3 months stay but this can be extended depending on how we get on.
