My Spare Room is in a cottage in Balbeggie, which is a small village just outside of Scone, near Perth. It is also within commuting distance of Dundee.
There are 3 bedrooms, a living room/dining area with a wood burning stove, kitchen, bathroom and a garden.
I am currently retired but volunteer at the local hospital. I also do energy and spiritual healing. I enjoy learning languages - mainly French but I have learned a few words in Japanese and I am quite competent in Hiragana. Currently I am learning Italian.
I hosted students of all ages when I lived in Edinburgh and I'm still in touch with a couple of them. Since moving to Perthshire, I have hosted 4 Japanese students through the UHI.
