Spacious semi-furnished double room soon to be available in two-story maisonette. Some light DIY improvements happening just now; bed being upgraded and all soft-furnishings have been removed.

Good location: 5 minute walk from centre of Galashiels, shops, hills and 'the policies' park. Really quiet. Clear skies and some nice views.

The flat has a living room and a small kitchen and bathroom (downstairs). There is also a massive shed/garage for additional storage, a good garden area and parking space. All electrics PAT tested; two freezers; brand new white goods but clothes drying best done outdoors/at laundrette round corner. Nice neighbours.

This could suit somebody conscientious who has experience of sharing space respectfully with other working adults in a peaceful residential area. Current occupants are live-in-landlord (away a lot) and other lodger (full-time).

We are just putting out feelers for now and are keen to hear from people who think this might be a good fit.

Ideally looking for:
- working female or mature student
- single person without regular visitors
- caring person who will take pride in keeping the house spick and span
- someone looking for a calm place to rest after work
- someone who likes the occasional chat over a cup of tea
- someone who has experience of sharing space with folk from different backgrounds and cultures

There's no WIFI but data works fine for streaming etc.
