A friendly elderly person is seeking a Sharer for their home to give them a mix of 15 hours’ help and company each week in exchange for the low-cost accommodation.

This person would really benefit from the friendly reassurance and companionship of having someone around their home in the evenings and overnight. They would also welcome a little practical help including picking up shopping, making a few evening meals, light cleaning/tidying and ad hoc other practical help and arrands as might be useful.

The accommodation on offer is a furnished single bedroom and shared bathroom, and shared use of the kitchen, sitting room, study/snug and garden.

The property is in a rural village 5.5 miles from Shrewsbury centre (20 mins drive), so this would suit a car driver.

The person enjoys reading the Telegraph and Daily Mail, listening to Classic FM and Radio 4, watching horse racing on TV and country pursuits. They like animals and are hoping to get a small dog. They would enjoy sharing some meals and have a chat/watching a programme together with their Sharer.

As a Sharer you are free to work or study as long as you have enough spare time to give the agreed level of company and support. The ideal Sharer will be a positive, friendly, kind, helpful and reliable non-smoker who ideally shares some of the person’s interests.
