We have a beautiful double room available from 1st March, as our lovely lodger moves on to buy their first home.

Our three-bed home sits on the edge of the nature reserve in Horsehay, Telford. Mornings here start with birdsong rather than traffic noise, and the reserve is right on your doorstep for walks and fresh air whenever you need to clear your head. In summer, evenings are spent out in the large garden around the fire pit or naps in the hammock.

About the room
The double room is fully furnished with a double divan bed, six-drawer dresser, end table, wardrobe and desk — everything you need to settle straight in. You'll have your own dedicated downstairs bathroom with shower, so there's never a queue in the morning, plus your own dedicated fridge shelf and ample kitchen storage. Outside, there's driveway parking, good transport links into Telford town centre, and local shops and services nearby. All bills are included in the £600 pcm rent.

About us
We're a couple who've been on both sides of lodging. We've been lodgers ourselves and have welcomed many people into our home over the past six years. We genuinely understand what makes a shared living situation work, and we pride ourselves on being flexible, organised and easy-going.

We're big animal lovers! Our home is shared with three friendly dogs and two cats, so a fellow animal lover is a must. If you've ever wanted to come home to a wagging tail (or three), you'll fit right in. We keep fit and enjoy an active lifestyle, and we're the kind of household that loves catching up over cooking in the evening, the occasional film night or takeaway, but equally knows when to give someone their space.

A proper lodger agreement is in place, and we're transparent about how everything works from day one so you feel secure as well as at home.

Who we're looking for
A working professional, non-smoker, who's looking for more than just four walls. Someone who wants to actually feel at home, to be part of a warm household without losing their independence. You don't have to be sociable every evening, but it'd be lovely if you appreciate the warmth of a place where people actually care how your day went.
