Room to rent in large farmhouse

I have a large room to let in a farmhouse on a working dairy farm. The setting is very rural, but the lovely local (about a mile away) pub has recently re-opened after being closed for a couple of years. The room has a beautiful outlook over the large garden, not another building to be seen. For shared space, there are three loos and one bathroom, a sitting room and a large farmhouse kitchen (with Aga of course!).

There is also an empty groundfloor room which used to be my office. By negotiation, this could be available for someone who wanted to work from home.

I have also a further bedroom which I keep as a guest room, so if you have friends who want to stay from time to time, no problem.

I am divorced (hence the lodgers!), but I have a 25 year old daughter living in Edinburgh.

I have had three lodgers since August 2011, but one has now moved on. This leaves me, Hattee, Bethany, a house cat called Cerys and one empty room.

We are a sociable bunch, though not in each other's pockets. We occasionally eat together, even sometimes cook together. We are therefore looking for someone who is willing to join in as well as looking for somewhere nice to live.

We have all recently discovered the 10,000 steps a day thing so the ease of walking up and down the lane or even to the pub is a great asset. And of course if we don't do it, we get into trouble!

Depending on where you work, you may need to commute. We are about a 20 minute drive from Shrewsbury town centre. But the house, its location and of course the residents more than make up for that.
