House share wanted with professional people

ROOM AVAILABLE FROM 26TH AUGUST 2026 – OSWESTRY TOWN CENTRE

I have one room available to rent from 26th August 2026 in a large, fully furnished 3-bedroom house, just a couple of minutes’ walk from Oswestry town centre.

The house has a large garden and shed, modern kitchen and dining room, large bathroom with shower, TV, Sky and strong Wi-Fi.

The weekly rent covers absolutely everything, so there are no extra bills to worry about. Council tax, water, gas, electric, Wi-Fi, TV, Sky and all the usual household bills are included. Basically, the weekly amount you pay me is all you pay.

There is already one lodger living at the house. He is a single male who works Monday to Friday, usually 7am–3pm.

Just a little bit about me as the landlord. I’m a full-time firefighter working in Chester and I also have a second job, so I work a mixture of shifts and long days. I’ve owned the house for many years and have rented rooms out to working people for a long time.

I am technically a live-in landlord as I have my own bedroom at the house, but I’m very seldom here. I normally come back for a shower twice a day and occasionally spend a few hours here over the weekend, but I sleep at my girlfriend’s house almost every night. So in reality, you and the other lodger pretty much have the run of the house most of the time.

Over the years I’ve had all sorts of people stay here, including people working at the Orthopaedic Hospital, BT, firefighters from the local station and local people who have simply needed somewhere to stay for a few months.

Long or short-term stays are welcome. I’m just looking for someone who works full-time, is respectful of the house and is easy to get along with.
