Double Room For Rent

I’m looking to rent out the third bedroom in my home, and the room is available with all bills included. The house itself is a modern three‑bedroom property in a quiet new‑build area, away from traffic and noise.

You’d be sharing the home with myself, my current lodger, and my 5‑year‑old short‑haired collie. He has a very gentle, affectionate temperament, so it’s important that you’re comfortable living with a friendly dog who loves company.

We’re hoping to find someone who is hard‑working, tidy, and respectful, and who fits well with the relaxed, considerate dynamic we already have in the house.

The property has three toilets:
- A downstairs loo
- A first‑floor bathroom recently renovated into a shower/bath combo (shown in the video)
- My ensuite, which is private

There’s also a small garden, perfect for BBQs in the summer.

The double room available comes furnished with a double bed and mattress, dresser, and shelving.

The location is excellent:
- A short walk from beautiful countryside routes, including Haughmond Woods (5–10 minutes by car or around a 30‑minute walk)
- Less than a 10‑minute walk to Battlefield Business Park
- Five minutes on foot to JD Gyms
- Five minutes to McDonald’s, depending on your cravings
- Ideal for anyone commuting to Telford, while still enjoying the comfort of living in Shrewsbury
