Double room in quiet cul-de-sac available for one

I will be looking to rent out my double room from May 2025 as I’m going travelling for a year.

My house is a middle terrace in a quiet cul-de-sac 10 mins walk to the station and 15 mins to town.

The cul-de-sac is mainly young couples rarely any disturbances except neighbour hood kids playing nearby occasionally.

This is for a furnished double room with built in wardrobe, shared bathroom, garden and parking available.

My current lodger has lived with me 3 years . She works from home and is busy during the evenings which would suit someone who is at work during the day as you can have equal claim to the tv!

She’s very quiet and easy going and would suit someone of a similar easy going nature. For anyone new to the area looking for a new hobby to take up she’s involved in the Buddhist community, enjoys poetry/writing, drumming & singing.

I’m looking for someone who is clean, responsible and that I can trust will care for my house with the current lodger whilst I am away.

Currently the expectation is that bills will be handled between yourself as I am will be unable to deal with any billing issues. Exceptions can be made to this for the right person.

Council tax B, bills are typically 300 a month for 2 people
