Off-road parking and all bills are included for rates, water, heating, gas, electricity, TV licence and excellent internet. There is gas central heating and I aim to keep the temperature a constant 20 deg C.
Bed linen, weekly cleaning and electric vehicle charging can be arranged.
The sitting area within the kitchen has a dining / work table, comfortable sofa and TV.
The bedroom has good storage and a double bed.
The en-suite has a large shower, toilet, basin, good lighting and cabinet with power for a shaver or toothbrush.
The rent is £1110 pcm and is payable monthly in advance by standing order. The flat is available from 12th October and lodgers are free to leave at any point giving one month notice. Part months are charged on a pro-rata basis.
There is a direct bus to the University of Bath and buses into the city centre. Buses to Bath Spa University are available in the city. Ther is an undercover space to keep a push-bike.
Suitable for non-smoker who wants a peaceful place to live. The flat has worked well for overseas mature students, visiting professors, etc.
I live on the ground floor and have recently retired from special needs teaching. My girlfriend stays quite often and uses a cabin in the garden for her psychotherapy clients. There is one other lodger who is a young man on placement for a year with a local company. We are all friendly and welcoming but in reality do not see much of each other except when using the washing machine or unless we choose to.
I am a very fair landlord and want a happy house. I can supply references if required.
