Description
Hey everyone ☺️
Sadly my housemate is moving on with her partner, so I am looking for someone new to join me in my flat 🤞🏽. The room is a double in a gorgeous 2 bedroom property , just a short walk into Bath city centre. Available from March 5th, but may be able to accommodate sooner.
The space: The bedroom has tall ceilings and a huge window overlooking the city, with built in shutters. It’s a sun trap all year round ☀️. It comes furnished, with a small double bed frame, wardrobe, desk and chest of drawers. You’re more than welcome to bring your own furniture however, as these are left over from the previous housemate. There are built in shelves with extra storage space. Additionally, there is a cloakroom next door with ceiling rails if you require more storage space.
We have a large living room with a dining table, large L shaped sofa, two built in bookshelves/ cupboards. Smart tv, vinyl player and lots of plants. Perfect for relaxing after a long day, cosy nights in or to entertain friends and family. I’ve furnished the living room myself, but feel free to add anything you want to make the place your own 🪴.
Large separate kitchen with all essentials, dishwasher, washing machine. More than enough space for two to cook at once - I’m a terrible cook so you’ll rarely find me in here. But bonus points if you love cooking 👀.
Modern bathroom, amazing shower pressure 🚿
About me: I’m a 30 year old London escapee, living in Bath for just over two years now. Usually Wfh/ hybrid in the fintech industry.
Im easy going, love to explore and get out, but also a fan of staying in and having a Netflix binge, curling up on the sofa with a book, or playing The Sims 😅. I’m into pole fitness, like to play tennis when the weather is good, so will be nice to have someone who may be up for this (although I am awful) or any other activities to get out of the house, as wfh can be isolating at times! Love a good book and paying visit to one of Baths many independent bookstores, or taking strolls along the canal.
Ideal housemate: preferably another female around mid 20s - mid30s. I’m open to male housemates, if we meet/ get to know each other a bit more first. postgrad/ professionals welcome. Looking for someone likeminded, sociable and tidy who prefers living in a homely, friendly environment, rather than a place where we treat each other like strangers. More than happy to have friends/family over, host dinner parties, board game nights etc. with respect to each other’s schedules, and the neighbours of course. Whilst also being mindful of other’s needs and space/ quiet time. Ideally someone who will treat the flat as their home and with love ☺️.
Bills:
Current usage =
Wifi total pm: £24
Water total pm: £50
Electric/heating: around £60- £75 depending on season/use.

City centre is a 5 minute walk down hill. Were a 5 minute walk to the Royal Crescent - perfect outdoor space for the summer, and Royal Victoria park. Good bus links to the hospital/ station if needed. Station is about a 15 minute walk down hill
