Looking to replace a house mate moving out at the end of June - we've just renewed our tenancy agreement but the landlord has allowed a swap. End of tenancy will be end of March 2026 with an option for renewal. The move in date is currently 28th June but can also be up to 28th July, if needed. You will need to be approved by our letting agency first.
The flat is in a really nice location, close to city centre (5 mins), on top of a crescent with nice views. It's just out of reach of tourists so it's not very busy and we never struggle to find a parking spot. There is on-street parking with a permit. Morrisons is about 15 mins walk from the flat, train station about 25.
The room itself is front facing so gets the views (and the sun). Flat originally came unfurnished but my housemate is happy to sell on her things, if you're interested. I have fully furnished the rest of the flat when I moved in - the living room, kitchen and bathrooms are shared.
The £630 rent is paid to landlord, along with the deposit.
The rest of bills are as follows (per month, to be split 50:50):
- council tax ~£180 (Band D)
- gas and electric ~£80 (less in summer, more in winter)
- water ~£48
- internet £28.50
I'm a 30yo female postdoc/researcher at the University of Bath and mostly climb/run/crochet in the evenings. Ideally, I want a professional that's tidy and easy going.
