Quiet flatshare on the Lower Bristol Road, Twerton. My flatmate is moving for work so I'm looking for a quiet professional or postgraduate student from end of August/start of September (lease to start probably 28th August). Decent size, nice neighbours, well looked after block. Close to Lidl, Marks and Spencer Food Hall and Chelsea Road/bus to the RUH.
I'm looking for a quiet, tidy flatmate who's clean and tidy (actually clean and tidy, no dishmageddon in the sink please). I'm a part time MA student working alongside my studies. I have ME/CFS so this is not a party house, I'm looking for a friendly, quiet flatmate while I finish my studies. I like reading, I'm quiet and tidy. I'm a vegetarian but you absolutely don't have to be!
The flat:
-Lounge/Kitchen
-Patio
-Washer-dryer with space for airing clothing
-Bedroom is furnished with bed, bedside cabinets, wardrobe, chair and desk/vanity. You will need to provide curtains for the room.
-1 bathroom with shower-over-bath
-Extra toilet in the laundry room (kind of one each!)
-Storage space in boiler cupboard
-Car parking space and locked bike shed
-Close to Lidl, Marks and Spencer and Twerton Mill and Twerton Bridge bus stops
-30m walk to Oldfield Park station, 30m walk into Bath city centre
- Some traffic and train noises
- No smoking
- No pets (not my choice sorry!)
Bills (per person, approx £900 total):
- £700 per month rent, going up by 4-8% (up to £756, letting agent won't commit to the precise amount yet) in January 2025
- £33 per month water
- £57 per month electric
- £20 per month broadband (will go down, just started a new contract)
- Council tax Band C, £82 per month going up in April 2026
- You will need a guarantor and a deposit of £689 plus a month's rent upfront.
