Hi! My name is Ceylan, and I’m looking for a housemate to join me and my super friendly dog Boomer in my spacious and quiet 2 bed house. The bedroom is a large, airy and spacious double witj plenty of natural light. I’ll say a bit about me, then go into more detail about the house! I am 28 years old, queer, and I am starting university in September to study Occupational Therapy after working as a support worker and author. I’m neurodivergent as well, and so I want to make it clear that the home is a warm, safe space for queer and neurodiverse people like me! Ideally I’m looking for someone who I can become friends with too! Around my age, either queer or females preferred, left leaning politically, and no worries about employment status, being a student etc! I’m really friendly but also understand the need for space and privacy. Not a party house by any means but you’re more than welcome to bring friends over etc. In my spare time I like going to drag and spoken poetry nights, wild swimming with my dog, going out for dinner with friends etc. you must be a dog lover as I have a 17 month old Newfoundland who is in training to be my assistance dog. He is very friendly and doesnt go in the bedrooms.
The house itself is in a great location- a five minute bus drive from the RUH and a 20 minute level walk into town. It is along the hospital bus route so buses into the city centre are very frequent and it is about a 10 minute journey. Close to the river cycle path, Lidl, Royal Victoria Park and other green spaces, as well as Chelsea Road and a Tesco express 30 seconds away. The road is a cul-de-sac and therefore quiet. There is permit parking too. The house has a living room plus another dining area/living area, storage space, a lovely bathroom, and a small back garden. Rent is £850pcm plus bills.
