Double Room in quiet village

Spacious double room to rent in a small 2 bedroom house. 20 minute drive from Taunton, Honition and the M5 and less that 15 minutes to A303. Shared clean modern bathroom and kitchen. Will be living with a work-from-home professional and a 4 year old rescue dog.

I am looking to rent out my spare room to someone who must like dogs and must clean up after themselves.

The house is located in a quiet friendly estate in a small village. the room is spacious, with a comfortable double bed, dining room table and chairs, wardrobe, drawers, small TV and kettle. Unfortunately there is not a shared lounge as that's my office / dogs room.

I work-from-home 4 days a week but out most evenings at the gym. I am awake early 6am (walking my dog and feeding my pet farm animals) so I go to bed early about 9-10pm. You may not see much of me as I volunteer for a charity and occasionally work at a pub too. I'd consider myself very liberal, fair, considerate, honest and friendly but can be a jobs worth at times i. e. I like to stick to agreements and I will say if I am unhappy about something. I expect the same in return with anyone I live with.

My dog is a rescue from Poland, he is super friendly but has a history of anxiety. Generally lodgers only see him when following me around but may hear him if someone comes to the door.

So far I have only had short term lodgers but happy to have a longer term lodger if it suits the both of us. I can give you contact details for previous lodgers if you would like a reference.

This room would best suit someone who is considerate, self efficient and likes their own space. Possibly someone whose schedule is as busy as mine, tries to be environmentally friendly and likes to keep shared spaces clean.
