Homeshare West is looking for a friendly, reliable, good humoured woman who is happy to support a householder who would welcome some company and help around the house. Also, she would like you to do some shopping and to cook and share a meal a few times a week.

The householder is an active, sociable, easy-going woman of deep Christian faith who is well liked in her community. She still likes knitting and playing cards. She does have short term memory loss, but has brilliant support from her close, loving family.

Homesharing is a low cost accommodation arrangement. You give ten hours of your time each week helping an older person with practical tasks, and provide companionship and overnight security for the householder. In return you get a pleasant room in a safe environment with very low outgoings.

Homesharing is a lifestyle choice, not for everyone, more suited to mature, reliable people. If you have the energy and commitment at the end of your normal day to spend some of your evenings and weekends engaging with the householder and helping out, we would like to hear from you. To be considered, you must be employed, and have the Right to Reside in the UK.
Understandably, we have a thorough interview process and will need good references and a DBS check before we can introduce you to the householder.
