The house has been thoughtfully extended and refurbished over the years and includes a large open-plan modern kitchen/living space with garden access, a separate sitting room with a wood burner and TV, two bathrooms, and a private enclosed garden.

The room is a furnished double on the first floor with:
• King-size bed
• Built-in wardrobe
• Chest of drawers
• Original stone chimney breast

It’s not huge, but it’s comfortable and light, and the house offers generous shared living space downstairs.

Kitchen includes:
• Built-in fridge freezer
• Oven
• Microwave
• Dishwasher
• Washing machine
There’s also an additional washing machine and tumble dryer in the outhouse.

About me:
I’m 51, self-employed, and have lived here alone for several years. It’s a calm, tidy, well-looked-after home and I value a relaxed, respectful atmosphere. I’m looking for someone grounded, easy to live with, and comfortable sharing a home rather than just renting a room.
