Small double/single room near old town.

Following the departure of my last lodger (off to live with his girlfriend), I have a room available for an employed, trustworthy person. Most bills are included, but we share electric (key meter). Includes council tax, 4 streaming TV services, heating and water.

I am taking on a lodger to share my home for a minimum period of three months.

The room has a single ottoman storage bed with a mattress of high quality. The room will fit a double bed with just enough room to move around it. You'd need to supply a double.

I'm not brilliantly tidy, I confess, but I do have my limits.

My daughters come to stay from abroad now and again. Other than that, it's just me and the cat, so be warned if you have an allergy

The house itself is 3 minutes walk to the top of Catherine Street and the old town.

Apart from the bedrooms, the rest of the house is shared. We take turns with chores and share certain supplies like washing powder. I'm happy sharing cooking too. There's Netflix, NowTV, Apple+ and Prime available so all the movies you could want.

There is a garden with flower bed, patio and summerhouse. Not huge but pleasant in the sun or for barbecues.

Bus stop for Bath is 1 minute walk

Hopefully, well share a few beers once in a while too. I'm not a drinker and I've had bad lodger experiences with drinkers.

I work full-time but get home at 4:20 Smokers OK

Boring Bits that should be said:

Deposit Return: One month notice and no damages outstanding. I will also give one month's notice if need's be. However, if there's a risk to the safety or integrity of my home, the notice will be 24hrs and deposit forfeited.

Deposit returned with any accrued interest from the savings account (about 3.5% annually at the moment). Can't say fairer than that.

You understand that you will be a lodger in my home and not on an assured tenancy.

Rent to be paid until vacating the room at the end of the agreement. Deposit is not in lieu of final month's rent.
