Gorgeous home in heart of Glastonbury - April 2026

Hi,

I own a gorgeous, light, ultra-spacious home in the very heart of Glastonbury, Somerset.

Glastonbury is a spiritual hub, centre of pilgrimage and known for its eclectic, free-thinking community.

I intend to go travelling for the month of April and wish to rent out my home, ideally from 27/3/26-26/4/26, though there can be some flexibility with this by mutual agreement.

The property is big and set out over 2 floors, with a:

* west-facing sun deck with table & chairs
* massive sunny kitchen/diner - fully equipped with gas hob, electric cooker, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble drier, dining table & 4 chairs + small sofa bed
* yoga room/small lounge
* downstairs toilet
* huge living room / 2nd bedroom overlooking Magdalene Street
* upper floor with guest bedroom overlooking Magdalene Street
* adjacent full bathroom with large shower, bath-tube, sink, loo

There is another double bedroom, which is mine & will be left empty during your stay.

The property is accessed via a wooden staircase and the internal stairs are a bit wonky & steep (this part of the house is Georgian), so this would not suit someone with mobility issues.

There is no on-site parking, but you can usually find free parking along Benedict Street or nearby roads.

The property is above a restaurant, so during the evening some sound can be heard on the ground floor from below until 10pm when they close, but the floor is insulated, so it is not especially loud or disturbing.

My neighbour is very quiet.

Overall, it's a very peaceful feeling space, like a haven away from the hub-bub, even though right in the centre of town.

Since it is overlooking Magdalene Street, street sounds can be heard in lounge and guest bedroom, but not typically in the kitchen/diner.

The main guest room upstairs can be set up as a single, super king or 2x singles.

The living room can be left as is or also set up as single, super king or 2x singles.

I am open to various rental configurations, but want the same person/people in the flat throughout, whether 1 person rents the whole property, a couple or 2x singles who choose to share.

To aid familiarisation with the quirks and operating of the utilities in my home, I may overlap with your stay for the first few days/week before heading off. Again, this will only be by prior agreement. I have my own bathroom, so this will not interfere with your private use of the main guest bathroom.
