Home with room to spare

I am a mother of two girls 12 and 15. I work in the nearby hospital. We have a good sized room, to spare, in our home.

I would be delighted friends to visit you but this is a home not typical student housing.

As I have two young-ish kids i would not be keen on partners coming and going overnight (unless we were on holidays- sorry child protection).

This may mean it suits someone who is returning to their base? Or perhaps a masters student who needs to buckle down for the 9 months.... I don't know. I am not sure I could commit to an indefinite contract but happy to see how it goes. I would like it to feel like your home.

I am pretty easy going. I cannot promise the house will always be spotless and I wouldn't ask that of you either. We can try!

I have three cats. Mostly only allowed in the downstairs ( though they like to escape upstairs given half a chance. If you aren't keen on cats this probably isn't the place for you- sorry!

I have a small garden which is a work in progress and am constantly trying to improve things in my home little by little. No major DIY planned!

I work shifts so can appreciate the need to keep the noise down as necessary if you also work shifts. My kids and i aren't very noisey so shouldn't cause you problems.

I live along the bus route the X9 and close enough to the park if you prefer that. I have a spare parking space. If needed I could probably find space for a bike in my garage!

We also live pretty close to the bike path into Bristol but are based towards the far end of Long Ashton. Door to door its 5 miles to the BRI

I don't have any locks on the door to the bedroom yet but I can get this organised if you have items you want to secure a little more.

The bedroom is partially furnished but if you need to check on anything let me know or if you prefer a different set up I can consider that too.

Pretty good broadband is included.

Shared living room and kitchen downstairs toilets, utility (including washer and dryer etc)

Common entrance and hall way. Your room would be on top ( third floor). We all sleep on the second. So you do have some privacy!

If you don't need the room 24/7 we can negotiate the cost.
