The pretty, conservation village of North Curry is about 15 minutes drive from Taunton (M5 junction 25), Langport Ilminster and Bridgwater. There is a twice per day bus service into Taunton and Langport. The village pub, ‘The Bird in Hand pub’, is well supported and vibrant. There is also an excellent health centre, village shop, tea room, Church and a number of societies. The village cricket ground is opposite the flat. The village sits on a ridge above the Somerset Levels renowned for its birdlife.
