Description
This is for a nice ensuite room in a shared house.
The house is close to Taunton town centre, (2 mins walk to town),
Musgrove hospital (approx 15/20 min walk)
Hinkley pick up points (closest is 2 min walk, 3 stops within 10 mins)
Bus station (approx 10 mins walk)
Train station (approx 15 mins walk)
The present housemates are all really lovely working , professional people. The house is friendly and calm, "no drama". Everyone helps keep it tidy, takes a turn with the bins, clears up after themselves etc etc. They have asked for someone similar to join them.
The room is an upstairs room with it's own en suite. Light and overlooks the garden. It is fully furnished with nice furniture.
Since taking the photos of the room, the arm chair is no longer with the room, everything else is the same. There is currently a single bed in the room( present tenants preference) but we can swop this for a double one if you prefer.
The house is also furnished, with a shared kitchen, lounge, and garden. The kitchen is fully equipped with cutlery, pots pans etc and has a washing machine, tumble dryer, cooker, microwave, toaster kettle fridges, freezer, etc etc.
The lounge has a sofa, tv, small table.
All bills included, gas, water, electric, fast broadband, council tax, TV licence for the lounge. We also have a good cleaner who comes approx once a fortnight to clean the kitchen, shared bathrooms and hallways, so the house is always left "topped up" cleaned.
There isn't any designated parking with the house but currently there is a car permit which is linked to the house and available from the council as a separate arrangement with them, this allows you to park in E11 which is quite a large area around the house, this is currently around £100 per year but please do check that out prior to committing, as its through the council, not ourselves and as such, is subject to change.
We are licenced and regulated with the council. The house recently had a very good inspection. It has all the legal electrical, gas, boiler, fire alarm and emergency lighting certificates. I belong to the National Residential Landlords Association so have professional standards to meet. The house is well run and I have a good working relationship with my tenants. This isn't rocket science, we expect you to pay your rent on time, live respectfully of others, tidy up after yourselves and enjoy living with us. You expect us to keep the house warm, safe, to turn up and fix things if anything breaks (we do, and quickly!) , and sort out any issues . In my 15 years experience, this works well!
It is a condition of our licence that we cannot accept children, pets, couples or smokers. In addition, we have a strict no drugs policy.
