Short Term to 12ish weeks: Double Room, Central

Hello! Please note the room is available for up to 8 weeks between approximately 17 February and 17 April depending on your dates. A shorter term let is possible :) Arrival and leave dates can be flexible for the right person, but not arriving before 17 February.

The house is a two minute walk from Taunton Station (really!) and has recently been redecorated throughout the bedrooms (carpet and paint), bathrooms and living room areas. There are two bathrooms, one upstairs and one downstairs. One has the bath and one has a shower so they would both be shared. 30 minute walk to Musgrove Park or 10 minute cycle.

Fibre optic broadband is in place and rent would include all bills.

Happy to consider Monday-Thurs/Fri rents. Rate for Monday-Thursday nights is £80 per week (4 nights). You would need to clear the room each week.

Shift working is fine so long as we are both as considerate as we can be of each other.

I'm a professional recently returned to Somerset after working away. I have family and links in the area so it's super to be back. I love theatre, film, travel and my friends and family.

I do not have a pet at present but I do look after dogs for friends and may get a dog in the future. A rescue Jack Russell is a regular visitor. He's nervous but I'd ask you to shower him with treats when you first meet!

The house is close to the canal/river walks and even closer to a park area.

My main 'wish list' is someone who is pretty quiet, tidy and cleans up after themselves. You would be welcome to use the dining room and space in the kitchen shall be yours. It's a drug free house, and heavy drinking isn't something I'd be comfortable with.

There is a small garden and on street residents parking. I can apply for a residents permit for your use which would be £7 a week.
