Recently modernised in 2023 to expand the kitchen and add a second toilet downstairs. New flooring, bathroom and appliances have been installed. Electrics have been completely replaced.

Shared appliances include:

As the landlord, a student going into my third year, I live within the house with my partner, 22 and 20 years old respectively. This means easy communication, quick repairs and a well-kept house. Expect a basic chore rota to keep the house running functionally. It is important that you are comfortable bringing up anything damaged or not right so we can deal with it straight away. We have previously had tenants who didn't speak to us and had damage we could have fixed almost immediately.

We own two cats, a shy cat who spends most of her time outside or in our room and a very friendly cat who loves to play. Keep your door closed if you do not want to interact.

The house is well-located on the local high-street with a bus stop right outside. There is a Morrison's local and a Premier shop, both open until 11pm. A pharmacy across the road and a corner shop, hairdressers and bakery a little further down.

Only 8 minutes walk away, there is a Lidl's, McDonald's and M&S. Sainsbury's is a short bus trip down. A bus runs every 15 minutes to the town centre and takes roughly 15 minutes.

This room available is the upstairs room with plenty of space; the window opens out to the garden and views of the hills. The room includes a bed and mattress, bedside table, full height wardrobe and drawers, desk and office chair. There is also a lock on the door for privacy, there is a spare key for emergencies.

The rent will be £800 per month with a £800 deposit

The bills are included. Also included is Superfast WiFi with speeds of up to 1000mbps with an ethernet port in the room.

This is for an 11 month contract beginning 1st September with 1 month notice of early vacancy.

Current residents including myself are reserved and enjoy animals, cooking, video games, boardgames and gardening.
